Anna Tauro

Anna graduated from the University of Bari, Italy and worked in several small animal practices in both UK and Italy before completing two small animal rotating internships in UK. Followed by a residency in Veterinary Neurology and Neurosurgery supervised by Professor Clare Rusbridge.

Anna gained her General Practitioner Certificate in Neurology GpCert(Neuro) in 2014 and has been working in UK and Australia as a Neurology Registrar since February 2017. She has lectured in neurology as well as in rehabilitation topics and her research interest includes polymyositis in the Hungarian Vizsla for which she received the BSAVA Award for the Clinical Research Abstract in 2013 and application of 3D-CISS MRI sequences for surgical planning.

Anna joined ChesterGates Veterinary Specialists in 2019 as a neurology clinician and became a European Specialist in 2021.
