Audrey graduated from the Veterinary school of Lyon, France in 1999, and obtained her Doctor (by thesis) in Veterinary Medicine degree in 2002. After graduating, she did an Internship in small animal medicine and surgery, and worked as a clinical instructor in surgery and emergency medicine at the Veterinary School of Lyon.
Fascinated by microsurgery, Audrey completed a Master’s degree in microsurgery at the Medical School of Lyon, and developed a strong interest in Veterinary Ophthalmology. She completed a Post-graduate Certificate in Veterinary Ophthalmology (Veterinary School, Toulouse) and worked in a referral practice before moving to North Carolina, USA, where she increased her experience in research.
Audrey to Bristol with her family in 2011 and worked as an ophthalmology consultant for general private practices, alongside lecturing in Veterinary Ophthalmology at the University of Bristol for 7 years. She developed particular interests in models to facilitate teaching of ocular examination techniques.
Audrey joined Highcroft Veterinary Referrals ophthalmology service in January 2021. She loves all aspects of ophthalmology and has a strong interest in medical and surgical corneal diseases and exotic animal ophthalmology.
