Gaby is an Internal Medicine Speciaist with the Vet Oracle Telemedicine service. She graduated from the University of Hanover, Germany and completed an internship and a residency in Switzerland before achieving her Diplomate status in 2005.
Gaby has held the positions of Head of the Gastroenterology at Utrecht University in the Netherlands, Professor at US Universities, Head Internist at private referral hospitals in the Netherlands and Germany, and most recently Associate Professor at Massey University in New Zealand. She is interested in all areas of internal medicine and intensive care, with a special interest in gastroenterology and liver diseases.
In addition to her clinical work, Gaby has discovered copper associated chronic hepatitis in labrador retrievers. She is Residency Program Director and volunteers for the ECVIM. In 2022, after more than 20 years abroad, Gaby returned to her home town in Germany where she lives with her Dutch-German family and British short hair “Kiwi”.
