Kate Walters

Kate is an anaesthesia clinician at Lumbry Park Veterinary Specialists. After graduating from the University of Cambridge in 2015, Kate practised as a veterinary surgeon for two years in a large, busy mixed practice in Nottinghamshire. She then completed a one year anaesthesia specialist internship at the University of Cambridge in 2017.

Kate has since completed an ECVAA residency training programme in Anaesthesia and Analgesia, before joining Lumbry Park as a clinical anaesthetist in 2021.

Kate has undertaken additional training in teaching and education and in 2021 became an Associate Fellow of Higher Education. She enjoys all aspect of anaesthesia, with a particular interest in anaesthesia for soft tissue surgeries and interventional procedures.
