Paul Nurse

Paul graduated from Bristol University in 1984 and retains an enthusiastic interest in all aspects of veterinary medicine. He is particularly interested in orthopaedics, advanced surgery and clinical governance.

In 1997 he gained his RCVS Certificate in Small Animal Orthopaedics and in 2015 he was awarded RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Orthopaedics. Paul is a long standing member of a first opinion practice where he has gained a broad experience of all aspects of orthopaedics. He is especially interested in fracture repair and the management of stifle lameness (cruciate disease, patellar luxation etc.), TPLO surgery and how evidence based medicine applies to orthopaedics. He is a Clinical Director of Ambivet Veterinary Group.
