Robert Hamilton

Robert qualified from RVC in 2001 and has been working in the Severn Edge group since 2004. He has obtained the certificate in small animal endoscopy and endosurgery. At Severn Edge we now routinely perform laparoscopic spays, cryptorchid castrates, and liver biopsies, and can also provide laparoscopically assisted gastropexy and thoracoscopy.

Laparoscopic spaying and cryptorchid castrates benefit greatly from reduced post operative pain. Liver biopsies are achieved through two 5mm incisions. Endoscopically we will commonly perform rhinoscopy, cystoscopy, bronchoscopy, gastro and duodenoscopy / colonoscopy which greatly advances our diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities.
