Course content:
Diabetes mellitus in cats can be one of the more challenging diseases to diagnose, manage and then monitor. Complications such as diabetic remission, comorbidities and insulin resistance further complicate the management.
This course will take you on a ‘journey’ from initial symptoms, curating the most suitable treatment plan through to monitoring, including how to manage when those complications arise and providing an ‘action plan’ to navigate these potentially tricky cases. We will be covering treatment options including the newly launched Velagliflozin (Senvelgo) as a management option for feline diabetes mellitus. With opportunities to hear from the Boehringer team with any more specific questions.
