RCVS Specialist in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging
Alex graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2009. He initially spent six months researching and developing radiology-based teaching tools, which was followed by a couple of years in first opinion practice prior to completing a small animal internship back at the RVC.
Over the next four years, Alex developed his interest in radiology as he worked as an emergency vet, a first opinion locum and a research assistant at the University of Bristol, and he was accepted into the diagnostic imaging residency at Langford Vets in 2016.
Alex successfully completed his masters degree in 2019. In January 2020, he completed and became a board-certified specialist of the European College of Diagnostic Imaging. Alex worked for numerous referral hospitals and teleradiology companies as a locum radiologist prior to starting his radiology position at Highcroft Veterinary Referrals in March 2021.
