Maria graduated from Universidad Complutense in Madrid (Spain) in 2008 and joined University College Dublin (UCD) Veterinary School (Dublin, Ireland) in 2012 to complete her European Residency in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medical Specialization. In 2017 she achieved the Diplomate
status and in 2018 the Doctor status.
For almost three years she worked as an Assistant Professor in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia in UCD. Maria Chie she is particularly interested in areas such as ventilation and regional techniques for pain management.
