Martina Cambruzzi

Martina graduated from the University of Perugia (Italy) in 2014 and then undertook a rotating internship at the Novara Veterinary Institute (Italy). It was during this period that her interest in veterinary anaesthesia grew and she decided to pursue a career in this field.

She moved to England in 2016 and completed an anaesthesia internship at a practice in Derby, followed by eight months at the University of Liverpool as an anaesthetist. In 2018 Martina started an ECVAA Residency in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia which she completed in July 2021 before joining Lumbry Park Veterinary Specialists. Martina passed her diploma exams and because an ECVAA Diplomate in 2023.

Martina is particularly interested in pharmacology of the anaesthetic drugs and she particularly enjoys anaesthesia for interventional cardiac procedures
