Sergio Gomes graduated from the University of Porto, Portugal in 2011. After qualifying, Sergio worked in small animal practice and completed a general and a neurology internship at an University Teaching Hospital in the UK.
Sergio joined Dovecote Veterinary Hospital in 2017 where he completed a ECVN residency in Neurology and Neurosurgery. In 2017 he started his residency in neurology and neurosurgery at Dovecote Veterinary Hospital, which he completed in 2020. He became a European Specialist in 2021.
